Half-Hour Consulting Service - $65 

Description: We consult with students and parents on a half hourly basis for any of the following services:

Half Hour Services can include the following:

  • College Admissions process review

  • High School coursework advising

  • Student’s transcript review

  • Assessment of Student’s college and career aspirations

  • Test prep services guidance

  • Decision Day guidance

  • Advice on steps to follow after acceptance

  • International Visa requirements and I-20 process (For International Students)

Outcome: Half hour meeting with student/parents and brief summary of points discussed and suggestions provided by us.

Hourly Services: $130 per hour 

Description: We consult with students and parents on an hourly basis as required for any of the following services:

  • Specialized Essay Reviews for undergraduate students

  • Specialized Essay Reviews for graduate students including Masters and MBA programs

Outcome: One hour meeting with student/parents and  brief summary of points discussed and suggestions provided by us. 

Student Profile Building Package: $400 per student
Description: This is mainly for freshmen and sophomores who need to build their profile based on their career path and interests.  We provide recommendations for the student in terms of course schedule and extra-curricular activities based on the student’s interests and abilities. Recommendations including a list of programs and courses will be provided to maximize the student’s college admissions and affordability goals. 

Outcome: Two 1-hour Meetings with the student/parents, a list of recommended courses and a list of 10 or more suggested extra-curricular activities/programs.

Group College Application Workshop: $500

Description: The group college application workshop is meant for high school seniors and includes 2 group sessions of 2 hours each totaling 4 hours where we will explain how the student should fill out the application.  In addition, we provide one final hour of application review with the student/parents after the workshop. We provide a checklist of documents that the student must collect before the workshop.  We walk students through the CommonApp application and explain how to fill out the different aspects of the application including adding colleges, filling out the personal section, awards and activities section, creating resumes, preparing for interviews at ivy league schools and uploading recommendations. 

After the Student fills out at least one full college application, the Student can schedule a 1 hour session for us to review the final application before submission.

Outcome:
1. Students can use our checklist to ensure that all tasks for the college application are completed. 
2. Attend group workshops and fill out their college application. 

3. Review of one application in a personal one on one 1 hour session
 

College List Preparation Package: $600
Description:
We help undergraduate and graduate students & parents who are navigating the college admissions process by providing a comprehensive list of colleges that match the student’s profile based on student’s interested major, academics, personality, student’s activities, location preferences and financial expectations.  We begin the process by providing questionnaires to both the student and the parents to fill out to understand the expectations and other criteria.  Once the student & parents complete the questionnaire and provide all of the required input, we will evaluate the requirements and provide the student/parents with a list of colleges in the US that are the best match possible to the student.

Outcome: Electronic List of 20 colleges or more with possible majors and 3 meetings with the student/parent:
Meeting #1: 30-min meeting to review student/parents expectations and requirements after questionnaire is filled out
Meeting #2: 1 hour meeting to review the suggested list of colleges and
Meeting #3: 1 additional hour after the Student and Parents have researched the suggested colleges for any further  feedback.

Group College Application Essay Writing Workshop: $800
Description:
This is a group workshop for seniors to write their college application essays and these workshops are conducted once or twice every month from summer to year-end.  Group essay workshop will be setup as a 4-day workshop totaling 14 hours with simple steps to help the student write 3, 4 or 5 essays including the personal statement, “Why this major” and "Why this college "essay, Community Participation Essay, Diversity Essay and Hobby Essay.  The intent is to help students write essays using the story-telling format to incorporate their personal stories and interesting anecdotes related to the topic.  Additional guidance includes organization, usage of rhetorical devices, writing an interesting opening, proper transitions from one point to the next, injecting humor and developing an appropriate conclusion that answers the prompt. At the end of each day, we review the student’s work in Google Docs and provide feedback.

Group Essay Workshop Schedule:

Pre-Workshop Reading & Writing through GoogleDocs (One week before essay workshop) & Pre Workshop Personal Session for 30 min (Pre-review of responses with student)
Day 1 Meeting Session: 2 hours (Brainstorming)

Day 2 Meeting Session: 3 hours (Personal Statement)

Day 3 Meeting Session: 3 hours (Why This Major & Why This College Essay)

Day 4 Meeting Session: 3 hours (Community/Diversity & Hobby)

Post Workshop Personal Session: 30 min (Review final essays for last comments)

Outcome:
Pre-workshop 30 min session with student/parents
4 days of group sessions to write college application essays 
Essays from the student in GoogleDocs
Post workshop 30 min session for feedback with student

Interview Preparation: $500 
Description: Review student's resume/list of activities and provide 3 mock interview sessions to prepare student for interviews with ivy-league/highly selective schools/medical schools that require interviews. 
Outcome:
Meeting #1: Mock Interview #1 with Student and feedback
Checklist of interview questions will be provided to students based on interview 

Meeting #2: Mock Interview #2 and feedback

Meeting #3: Mock Interview #2 and final feedback
